The FLEXRAY Databus training caters for diagnostics on late model vehicles where the speed of data transfer is very high and very precise. Where Flexray wiring looks similar to CANbus wiring, the diagnostic approach could not be any more different. The use of an ATS Scope is almost obligatory.

DURATION: 1 DAY
Prerequisites: It is prefered that you have completed AED, no matter what level of experience or previous training systems.
Equipment: This training is ATS scope based, please bring your own scope or if you don’t have one AECS will provide one for you.
Flexray communication speed in comparison to other network speeds.
What can go wrong will go wrong, even a bad scope lead can affect the communication.
•Measuring on the Flexray and wake up lines.
In which ECUs are capping resistors, and how to determine if an ECU is properly connected to the network but simply ‘refuses’ to communicate.
What signals are correct and which are incorrect, how are the signals made and used.
How do you identify ECU activity on the network.
