Herbert Leijen

Herbert had a love for working on motorbikes and cars from an early age. Herbert is a mechanical automotive engineer with many years of practical experience in automotive diagnostics.  Director of AECS, Herbert's diverse role as captain & chief, will find him training around New Zealand which he enjoys immensely, through to daily operations at AECS.  He is renowned speaker at conferences and is sought after for his experience in the automotive industry.

Paul

Paul as a young fella worked with his Dad tinkering on sponsored cars. This grew in to his passion, studying with the Motor Vehicle College through to traveling the world and working in F1 and WRC. Paul and his family live in Hawkes Bay.  Paul develops and delivers trainings around the country and specialises in the many of the AECS products and provides valuable technical support.

Stu

Stu draws on over 20 years of experience as an auto sparky and owner/operator.  Stu travels the breadth and width of the South Island, visiting and training with workshops. Stu is the CEO of the YES Network, overseeing 50 different workshops around New Zealand for YES.  Stu works with our customers throughout the South Island.

Hamish

Hamish grew up learning about cars from his Father & Uncle.  With spanner and scope in hand, he has worked 28 years as a technician specialising in European cars. Hamish lives in Auckland with his partner and 3 kids, which keeps life very busy. Hamish works with our customers from Auckland through to Northland.

Tash

Growing up next door to a go-kart track, inspired Tash to get into go-karting, trial bikes, and speedway.   Tash with her partner raise their family in the Hawkes Bay.  Her passion for everything technical and mechanical Tash is always keen to get the midst of the AECS action.  Liaison to our new and current customers Tash provides equipment support and provisioning.

Peter

Peter works primary in R&D, he has developed a number of products (to name a few) including training simulators through to internal software that assist in our training and day to day running of AECS.  Peter delivers trainings around the country and provides valuable technical support.

Cunie

Behind every good man, there is a great woman.  Cunie oversees day to day operations including curating training and administration.  Cunie works closely with the team providing insight and wisdom that keeps AECS HQ running at peak performance.

Abby

Abby is our amazing training coordinator, she will be in contact with you from your initial training booking through to making sure you arrive on time.  With a background in business administration and running her own business, she keeps AECS going like a well-oiled machine.

Mark

Mark comes from diverse roles, working across industries in mining, agriculture, media and marketing. Mark's primary role is media and secondary overseeing group to corporate trainings. He also deals with internal duties to back the team up.
