We’ll discuss how to store and print scope patterns, including how to attach a pattern to an email.

Scope Setup
How to set up the instrument taskbar, change colours, workshop data, and default directories. We’ll show you easy tactics and keyboard shortcuts to measure, zoom in and out to make it even easier to get around the software.

Measurement Modifications
We’ll show you different tool types incorporated in the scope and their different uses. We will look at current measurements and their meaning including glow, relative compression and diagnostic current.

We will teach you easy ways to modify the volt scale, sample speed, buffer size and sample rate, including why you will need to do this.

Measurement Methods
We’ll discuss the importance of scope trigger settings and how to set up arm and fire trigger level points.

You will learn the importance of offset and differential measurement methods.  Both have merits, however, one comes with a warning.

We take a look at two types of current clamps, including the importance of calibration between the current clamp and scope and best practice around magnetic fields.

Signal Generator
We start with the basics of a signal generator and how to build signals, we’ll then take it up a level and teach you how to modify a vehicle’s signal to check sensors, how to modify an adaption value and how to record and send out a signal.

One-Shot & Dyno
We’ll show how fast your ATS Scope is with One-shot mode which can be used for immobiliser diagnostics. Included is how to calibrate external instruments like pressure sensor or Dyno.
