Detailed description of the DMS 2-1 and DMS 2-2 (Diesel Management Systems 2 part 1 & 2)
These seminars are technical at a very high level, and are the follow on from the DMS 1 part 1,2 and 3.

These seminars are still under construction but at least the following topics will be covered:

    1. Serial data diagnostics.
Live data, adaption values and what can be read from it.
How to find out which way the adaption value responds on a vehicle by manipulation of signals.

    2. Engine management software programing from scratch.
Write closed loop software and make it work in an emulator.
Upload and make the software work for real in a Motorolla chip driven circuit.

    3. Building of usefull electronic circuits to simulate and override engine management signals.
Drive high current actuators with very low (chip) currents with feedback circuit for closed loop operation.

    4. Can data bus diagnostics, manipulation and programming.
Use Generic Motorola chip set with communication modules to build working can data bus system.
Programing the chips and set comunication protocols.

As an diagnostician I found this knowledge absolutely invaluable for understanding and being able to manipulate and diagnose any computer controlled electronic circuit. This knowledge takes away the need to have data for every single measurement you make.

Please note: the seminars are of a very high level. The participants will be diagnosticians who have been succesfull in the industry for a long time and have attended at least all DMS 1 seminars.

The DMS 2 seminars run parallel with the EMS 2 seminars. They will be conducted simultaniously as the content has many similarities. The seminars will be held in small groups at AECS' own training facilities in Hastings.
